Muskego HS Program to Detail Effects of Drug, Alcohol Abuse
As concerns about drugs in Muskego school persist, the high school will host a program featuring real-life tales of drug and alcohol addiction.
The devastating effects of drug and alcohol abuse is the subject of a presentation Tuesday at Muskego High School.
The program, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the high school performing arts center, is put on by the group Your Choice-Live. It includes real-life stories from young adults who have lived through addiction, according to an event flier.
Students and parents stay together for the first hour of the presentation, then break out into separate sessions.
Several parents and students have said heroin and other drugs are a big problem in Muskego schools. Last month, a group asked Muskego School Board members and administrators for their help combating the problem.
