Muskego's 'Millie' Thoroughly a Team Effort

A fun but challenging musical means all hands on deck for Muskego High School's theatre department

If you've ever seen 'Thoroughly Modern Millie,' there are a lot of words to describe the musical set in the roaring 20's: madcap, rousing, even silly.

However theatrical director Steve Krause at Muskego High School has a different perspective.

"It's about 20 sets," he laughed.

The play focuses on a naive young woman who finds herself in the midst of a series of adventures when she aims to marry her wealthy boss, and those adventures all need a change of scenery, but apparently the crew at MHS is ready.

"It's a full-force musical, and we've got a full cast, crew, chorus and musicians on board to make it happen," Krause said. In fact there are more than 100 students involved in the production.
