VIDEO: Muskego School Board Accepts Schroeder's Resignation, Starts Search for New Supt

Formally announcing his departure for a position with the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators, Dr. Joe Schroeder thanks the district for the opportunity

Reading a statement he prepared for the school board because he didn't think he'd get through it otherwise, Dr. Joe Schroeder thanked the Muskego-Norway School Board for the opportunity to serve the district as its superintendent.

"In the spring 2007, board, you decided to entrust the district's futute in the hands of an applicant without any superintendent experience," he said, adding that he'd hoped their trust was rewarded.

President Jim Schaefer preceded Schroeder's statements by saying that while the board would miss Schroeder, "we are excited to see the impact he will have on education throughout the state Wisconsin in his new role."
