The Muskego Warriors headed west to Indian country Friday night under gloomy skies, which may have been an omen of things to come.
Where passing yards were lacking last week in their game against powerhouse Arrowhead, this week's 27-14 loss may have been told in the ground game. Muskego's 144 yards of total rushing was half of the 288 posted by Mukwonago. However, the passing game returned, and in that respect outshown Mukwonago's, 112 to 83 yards in the air.
David Kucharski would show his versatility in scoring Muskego's two touchdowns, running 32 yards into the endzone in the third quarter to put the Warriors on the board, and grabbing a 78-yard pass in the final minutes of the game.
Muskego will host Waukesha West next week Friday at InPro field at 7 p.m.
