School Board Will Fill Two More Positions

A flurry of hires from within began when former superintendent Joe Schroeder left the district, and could end with the hires of two elementary teachers Monday night

The Muskego-Norway School Board will convene Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Educational Services Center, and will make a familiar announcement on hiring administrators. Since Joe Schroeder announced he was leaving his post as MNSD superintendent earlier this year, the board has had to search for seven different administrators, most of whom have stepped up into positions vacated due to other promotions.

Presently, there are two remaining positions for elementary school principals at Mill Valley and Tess Corners. Linda O'Bryan left the spot open at Mill Valley as she was named the new principal at Lake Denoon. Kelly Kluck had been the principal at Tess Corners for only a year, but decided to go back to teaching, thus leaving an opening there.

O'Bryan's move to Lake Denoon was the result of Prinicipal Ryan Oertel's move to the top position at Muskego High School, which Dennis Bussen left to take the place of assistant superintendent. Kelly Thompson was named superintendent, a promotion from her role as assistant.
