Warrior Boys Take the Top of the Hill at Alpine Valley

Ski teams continue to post strong results with an eye toward state.

From Muskego High School Ski Team Coach Corrin Christopher:

The Muskego Boys Varsity Ski Team came in first place at their last race at Alpine Valley, besting Badger, Nicolet, West Bend, and Trinity/Germantown on Wednesday Jan. 16. Top finishers for Muskego Boys were David Birkle (4th), Justin Fennig (5th), and Spencer Rotter (6th).

The Girls Varsity team also did very well. They took 2nd overall with Sammy Llanas placing 6th, Elizabeth Bartoszewski placing 7th, and Georgi Llanas placing 9th.

According to Coach Christopher, the team has had a good start on the season. Boys have placed 3rd, 2nd, and 1st in their first 3 races, and the girls have placed 4th, 2nd and 2nd in their first 3 races.

The boys team has six skiers - Senior Justin Fennig, sophomores David Birkle, Paul Kremer and Spencer Rotter, and freshmen Zeke Baker and Connor Cleveland.

The girls team has seven members: Seniors Elizabeth Bartoszewski, Samantha Llanas, Julie Petak and Josie Rotter, junior Georgi Llanas, sophomore Taela Roth, and freshman Isabelle Sviatoslavsky.

Yes, Muskego has great businesses! We also have a great Executive Director -- Tina Weiss -- who weRead More can thank for much of the Chamber's growth, as well as our own.
