Muskego Man to Join Others in Soccer Hall of Fame

Both a player and a coach, Daniel Stadler joined five others as player inductees in the Wisconsin Soccer Association Hall of Fame Saturday night.

According to Wisconsin Soccer Central's website, Muskego resident Daniel Stadler joined nine men inducted into the Wisconsin Soccer Association Hall of Fame at a banquet Saturday night at American Serb Hall in Milwaukee.

Stadler grew up playing in the Polonia Soccer Club and starred at Milwaukee Tech and Marquette as a captain. He earned team MVP honors in both high school and college, and played for the Polonia Major for 20 years.

He also guided the Milwaukee Divine Savior Holy Angels girls team to two Wisconsin Independent Schools Athletic Association (WIAA) state titles and was an assistant coach at Marquette.

Stadler will join Greg Santaga, Fernando Campos, Michael "Misho" Hincak and Djordje BlaΕ‘cuk in the player category. Steve Mott is the lone referee being enshrined this year. Mile Stanic (overall), Keith Tozer (coach) and Dr. Robert Buss (administrator) also will join the Hall as members of the 30th induction class.
