Muskego Team Stands Among Best at Cooperstown

The 12U Muskego Warriors have returned from a national baseball tournament in Cooperstown, N.Y.

A Muskego youth baseball team traveled to the hallowed grounds of Cooperstown, N.Y. and went toe-to-toe with some of the best under-12 teams in the country.

The 12U Muskego Warriors went 4-4 at Cooperstown Dreams Park, finishing 53rd overall out of 104 teams. The team also took 21st place in a skills competition.

But the trip was about more than the games. The boys stayed in barracks during their week in Cooperstown and enjoyed a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame with their families, a team and family cookout, a family pizza party and more.

"The Dreams Park experience is something our Warrior parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and especially the athletes will never forget," the team said in a news release.

"This Warrior team has not just grown as a baseball team over the years; it has become a family with all who are involved."

The Warriors include Steven Jamroziak, Wes Kwapick, Tyler Termaat, Dawson Prusinski, Brandon Wikel, Sam Greenthal, AJ Makinen, Austin Malkowski, J.R. Muth, Brandon Eckel, and Josef Oechsner. They are coached by Jim Prusinski, Dave Jamroziak, Greg Muth and Griff Eckel.
