Muskego to Face Badger in Level 1 Playoff Game Saturday

The Muskego Warriors, who started the season in a new conference and had early troubles with powerhouse Arrowhead and Mukwonago, found their feet soon after and literaly ran into a spot in the postseason by winning out their final games of the season with a dominant rushing game. They will play at 4 p.m. Saturday in a Level 1 WIAA Division 1 playoff game.

Muskego finished the season 4-3 in the conference and 5-3 overall; they are seeded 6th and will travel to face Badger High School (6-1, 6-2) out of Lake Geneva.

The winner of this contest will face either Racine Horlick or Franklin on Friday or Saturday, Oct. 26 or 27.

Seventeen schools within the Milwaukee Patch area are included in this year’s playoff field among 4 different divisions. Additional Patch-area schools are:

• Division 1: (5 teams) Menomonee Falls, Sussex Hamilton, Muskego, Oak Creek and Racine Horlick
• Division 2: (7) Waukesha West, Brookfield Central, Brookfield East, Greendale, Shorewood/Messmer, Wauwatosa West and Whitefish Bay

• Division 5: (3) Brookfield Academy, Martin Luther and Racine St. Catherine’s
