Photo Gallery: Muskego Walmart Car Show This Past Friday
Money raised from car show this past Friday evening to help Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
The classic cars turned out for a car show this past Friday evening, July 22, at the Muskego Walmart to .
The show went from 5-9pm in the Walmart parking lot.Β
April Henry, an assistant manager at the New Berlin Walmart, collaborated with other volunteers from the Muskego, New Berlin, and Waukesha stores for this first annual car show.
The event also featured food vendors, cotton candy, face painting, and a silent auction for gift cards that were donated by different area restaurants.
Asked about the turnout, Henry admitted she would have hoped for a larger crowd, but chalked it up as a learning experience for being the first time. She said there were more cars that registered for the event, but didnβt have the numbers readily available. Still, she said, it was a fun event that benefited a worthy cause.Β
All funds raised will be going directly to the Childrenβs Hospital of Wisconsin, which is one of 170 hospitals across North America that are supported by the Childrenβs Miracle Network.
