Around the area, several activities may be of note to Muskego residents as they prepare for the weekend:
--The Green Bay Packers open training camp Friday in pursuit of their fifth Super Bowl title.
--The Washington County Fair continues through Sunday. Among the performers set to take the stage are Darius Rucker and Daughtry.
--German Fest, otherwise known as "Milwaukee's Original Haus Party," kicks off on the Summerfest grounds.
--And the fourth-annual Milwaukee Brewfest—the Ultimate Boston Beer Experience—will be held Saturday just a stone's throw from German Fest at 1600 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive.
