Break-in Thwarted With a Quick Call and a Block of Wood

Robbery attempt leaves no one injured, nothing taken and two suspects in custody after a call to 911 and a wooden block keeps the bad guys out.

A robbery attempt in the Park Estates subdivision Monday morning was foiled by a call to 911 and a well-placed wooden block.  Police confirmed there was an attempted burglary to one residence in which no one was hurt. Two suspects, a 34-year-old West Allis man and a 22-year-old Milwaukee woman, were apprehended by police. So far there have been no ties to the neighborhood established and police do not know why the home was targeted.
