Muskego Man Charged with Burglary Caught Holding the Bag, Say Police

Already charged in Racine County for burglary, a Muskego man's venture through his parents' neighborhood racks up more charges for burglary, bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia

Muskego Police responded to a call of a prowler on Glenbrook Drive on March 19, and found the suspect had more than just someone else's backpack. According to the criminal complaint: A neighbor called to report a prowler outside of his residence, and upon arriving Muskego Police found Jacob Mayer, 20, matching the man's description and standing on the porch of his parents' house. Police reported that they knew from previous contact that Mayer was not allowed in their home and questioned him. Mayer admitted to being near the home of the caller, but denied he had entered. While speaking with him, police stated they detected a strong odor of intoxicants, and a subsequent breathalizer resulted in a blood alcohol reading of 0.19. A dispatcher …

Liquor Store Burglarized, Leads Being Sought

An overnight break-in of the longtime family business has police looking for information and store owners stunned that it could happen.

Sometime overnight on Jan. 2 the Muskego Beer and Liquor store was burglarized, and police are asking for the community's help. Posting a plea on their Facebook page, the department said the break in occurred between the hours of 9 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday. Craig Fischer, family member and owner of the store, which has been a Muskego business since 1970, was emotional when he spoke with Muskego Patch on the nature of the incident. "They took...a lot," Fischer said, shaking his head. "It sucks...I hope they catch the guy - I can't believe it."  Apparently the suspect or suspects broke in, damaging a door, and stole top shelf liquor in the overnight hours. Warrant Issued in Burglary of Muskego Home

Police say the suspect stole $1,500 in Best Buy gift cards from the victim's home, then spent and sold them.

A 36-year-old South Milwaukee man is accused of burglarizing a Muskego man. The defendant had just been fired from a lawn care company tending to the victim’s yard. Leonard J. Caruso was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of burglary. If convicted, he faces up to 7 ½ years in prison and $25,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On May 7, a man contacted the Muskego Police Department to alert them to a possible burglary of his friend’s house in the W16400 block of Oakhill Trail. Suspect says she stole the pills while the victim would be out to lunch with his wife.

A Wind Lake woman is accused of breaking into a Muskego apartment in order to steal prescription pills. Mary A. Pradarelli was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of burglary and one count of possession of an illegally obtained prescription drug. If convicted, she faces up to eight years in prison and $25,500 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Aug. 9, 2011, a man living in the S8500 block of Cottage Circle left his apartment at 11:30 a.m. and when he came back at 2 p.m. he found 38 of his Hydrocodone pills were missing. Left-Behind Wallet Leads to Charges of Burglary

Three Muskego men are charged with burglary of Norway home after one of their wallets is discovered at the scene.

Three Muskego men are accused of breaking into a Town of Norway home and stealing electronics, after one of their wallets was found at the scene of the crime, say police. Joshua J. Kerber, 18, Tyler J. Quineones, 19, and Steven J. Paulus, 20, were charged in Racine County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of burglary each. If convicted, they each face up to 7 1/2 years in prison and $25,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Oct. 2, 2011, a woman was watching her sister's home in the 7200 block of Ashwood Lane and she left for a couple of hours and came back to find someone had broken into the home. Suspect faces nine months in prison, fines in a case where he went along with a scheme to sell stolen musical instruments, according to report

A 24-year-old Muskego man is facing charges after he allegedly helped a friend sell items burglarized from his own dad. Derek J. Degroot was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of receiving stolen property. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On June 22, a man contacted the Muskego Police Department after his home had been burglarized and numerous musical instruments had been taken. The man suspected his son, Nicholas Brylow, in the theft, saying he had seen his truck by Degroot’s house in recent days. Cops Investigate Burglary and Find Drunk Driver Instead

Muskego man is pulled over when he drives near a burglary and cops discover he has marijuana in his pickup truck and is driving drunk.

A 46-year-old Muskego man is facing charges after he allegedly drove drunk with marijuana in his pickup truck too close to an area where police officers were investigating a burglary. Richard V. Klemme was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of fourth offense operating while intoxicated and one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in jail and $3,000 in fines. Burglary Suspect Caught

A friend of the homeowner interrupted the burglary back in May, but a suspect had been at large until now.

Muskego Police announced they have arrested a 35 year old Oak Creek man for a burglary that occurred back on May 7 to a residence in the W16400 block of Oak Hill Dr.  According to police, on May 7 a burglar in a home in the W16400 block of Oakhill Dr. was interrupted when a friend of the homeowner entered the residence around noon. While nothing was reported stolen, the suspect fled out the back door without a further description available. Police had a description of the vehicle the suspect fled in, however. A description given by the homeowner's friend indicated the suspect drove an older, black over gray, Ford Thunderbird or Mercury Cougar, with a University of Wisconsin “W” sticker in one of the windows. Waukesha Man Accused of Burglarizing His Dad's Muskego Home

Suspect broke into the house so he could steal $30 in change.

A 34-year-old Waukesha man is facing felony charges after he allegedly broke into his dad’s house in Muskego and stole $30 in change. Timothy A. Brown was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of burglary. If convicted, he faces up to 12 ½ years in prison and $25,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Feb. 8, Muskego police officers were called to a home in the W17400 block of Muskego Drive after a man reported someone breaking into his house.
