Muskego Man Accused of Biting a Milwaukee Cop
Police say the suspect gave a Milwaukee police officer a concussion after elbowing him in the face while trying to take him into custody.
A Muskego man is accused of beating and biting a Milwaukee police officer while being arrested last week inside a home. Christopher Kartz, 38, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count of battery of a law enforcement officer, one count of resisting arrest and causing a soft tissue injury and one count of disorderly conduct domestic abuse. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and $21,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Nov. 19, Kartz was with a woman outside of her parent’s home in the 8200 block of West Tripoli Avenue when she discovered a hypodermic needle inside his truck.
