Parkland Mall Case Closed: a Look at the Week in Review

Plenty of discussion on the empty lot known as the "tree farm" on Janesville, as well as a study of an intersection that may bring another roundabout to the landscape. What else made news this week? Read on.

We started out the week with a study of delinquent taxpayers, and Muskego's unpaid taxes topped the $1 million mark. In the meantime, new jobs and new businesses are coming to Muskego in 2013, according to Mayor Kathy Chiaverotti. She made those remarks during the State of the City Address on Feb. 15. The Muskego Historical Society announced a fundraiser for the Tailspin Roller coaster sign, which is in need of repair. A historic Muskego Pub Crawl on March 16 will start and end at Marx Pioneer Inn, and will stop at four other Muskego bars that have a historical tale to tell as well. Wrestlers Take 4th at Classic 8 Meet

Mukwonago, Arrowhead dominate conference championships, but Muskego's Quartullo, Price take first in their individual rounds.

The Muskego Warriors came away with a fourth place overall finish at the Classic 8 Conference championships on Saturday, but left the meet with two 1st place finishes by juniors Austin Quartullo and Connor Price. The Warriors posted a team score of 114.5 in a meet that had Mukwonago (team score of 223) and Arrowhead (213) dominating the field. Here are the individual stats for Muskegoby weight class: 106 - Jack Sarnowski (20-13), 5th place, 7.00 team points. 113 - Vinny Nazario (13-21), 6th place, 7.00 team points. 120 - Austin Quartullo (36-1), 1st place, 19.50 team points. 126 - Taylor Pietrzak (9-16), 4th place, 14.00 team points.    145 - Brady McFarland (22-15), 4th place, 11.00 team points.      152 - Connor Price (36-5), 1st place, …
