Suspect leads police on a high speed chase after he's caught driving on the north side of Milwaukee with an expired license plate while in the area to buy crack cocaine.
A 45-year-old Muskego man is facing charges after he led Milwaukee police on a high speed chase Sunday through the city’s north side. Fred W. Hilpert was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of attempting to flee an officer and one count of resisting an officer. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison and $20,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: A Milwaukee police officer on patrol Sunday near North 34th Street and West Wright Street saw Hilpert driving a pickup truck with an expired license plate. Suspect breaks into a woman's home to take his tools instead of scheduling an appointment to pick them up.
A 50-year-old Milwaukee man is facing felony charges after he broke into a Muskego woman’s home so he could take his tools instead of scheduling an appointment to get them from her. Robert N. Waltho was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of burglary. If convicted, he faces up to 12 ½ years in prison and $25,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Nov. 10, Muskego police were called to a residence in the W12700 block of Woods Road after a woman living there reported a large tool chest owned by Waltho was missing from the garage of the residence along with two license plates and a floor jack. Woman, 50 takes Muskego woman's car then withdraws $1,200 from her bank account in order to go on a bender.
A 50-year-old woman is facing charges after she allegedly stole a Muskego woman’s car, then took $1,200 out of the victim’s bank account to purchase drugs, alcohol, food and cigarettes. Celeste L. Davis was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with one count of operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and one count of identity theft for financial gain. If convicted, she faces up to 9 ½ years in prison and $20,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On July 29, the victim let Davis use her car so she could go file for unemployment benefits and gave her a debit card so she could pick up groceries for the victim’s mother.
