A Menomonee Falls man took his Muskego girlfriend's car and money after admitting he smoked 'copious amounts of crack cocaine,' reports state; however the girlfriend is the one facing charges for possession
An addiction to crack cocaine is likely what led to charges for identity theft, using a vehicle without his girlfriend's consent (joyriding) and bail jumping for a 31-year-old man from Menomonee Falls. However, he was more than helpful in leading police to drugs that his girlfriend also had in her apartment. On Saturday at roughly 5 a.m., Melissa Laumann called the Muskego Police Department to report that her boyfriend Joseph Benton had stolen her vehicle from her home on Janesville Road. She admitted to police that they had twice used the van that day to buy cocaine for Benton. However, she awoke early Saturday to find her keys — and Benton — gone. New Berlin Police arrested a 27-year-old Muskego man after discovering pills, marijuana in a vehicle he was in at a park-and-ride lot.
A Muskego man has been charged with possession of amphetimines and drug paraphernalia after a routine patrol of a park-and-ride lot near I-43 by a New Berlin police officer uncovered various substances in the man's car. According to the criminal complaint: On Dec. 22, Robert G. Hampton was parked next to another vehicle at the park and ride at 6100 S. Racine Avenue in a "typical position of cars for individuals engaging in some sort of drug transaction," according to the arresting officer. Hampton and the other man in the vehicle spoke to the officer, telling him they were going Christmas shopping. However the officer reported that he detected the odor of burning marijuana as he spoke to the men, and thought their actions were suspicious. …

Friday, May 18 – An 18 year old Manitowoc man was arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store. His companions, a 23 year old Fredric man, and a 22 year old man from Osceola, were not charged. Saturday, May 19 – Sunday, May 20 – A resident reported a possible prowler in the S7600 block of Conrad Ct. The suspect used a ladder to knock on a bedroom window. The area was checked, no one located, however, a suspect has been identified.
