A 26-year-old Muskego man is facing charges after he was caught driving under the influence with marijuana and heroin inside his van. David M. Klejsmit was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of possession of narcotic drugs, one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of second offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to 4 ½ years in prison and $12,600 in fines. A presentation forum about local drug trends and issues will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Steinhafel's Community Room, W23-N1013 County Road F, in Waukesha. The forum will include information for parents from Capt. Chuck Wood from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation starts at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by Drug Free Communities Waukesha County. Meanwhile, the coalition is sponsoring a drugs and prescription medication drive on Saturday, May 14.
