Muskego Man Caught With Marijuana, Heroin in His Van While Driving Intoxicated

Suspect was found passed out in his van after witnesses call police to report an erratic driver.

A 26-year-old Muskego man is facing charges after he was caught driving under the influence with marijuana and heroin inside his van. David M. Klejsmit was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of possession of narcotic drugs, one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of second offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to 4 ½ years in prison and $12,600 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Sept. 28, a driver called police after Klejsmit was driving erratically near McShane Drive and Durham Drive and then pulled off on Independence Drive. 'New Drug Trends in Waukesha County' Forum Scheduled for Thursday

Capt. Chuck Wood from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department will inform parents about local drug trends and issues.

A presentation forum about local drug trends and issues will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Steinhafel's Community Room, W23-N1013 County Road F, in Waukesha. The forum will include information for parents from Capt. Chuck Wood from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation starts at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by Drug Free Communities Waukesha County. Meanwhile, the coalition is sponsoring a drugs and prescription medication drive on Saturday, May 14. People can bring prescription medication, over-the-counter medication, ointments, sprays, inhalers, creams, vials, herbals, pet medication and mercury.
