Deana Damico already has two convictions and two pending OWI cases, and an incident early Sunday could lead to a pending fifth.
A 43-year-old Muskego woman was arrested early Sunday morning for what could be her fifth OWI conviction. According to a news release from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Dept: Deana Damico was stopped on northbound I-43 at Beecher just after 3 a.m. when a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s deputy, who had been conducting a separate traffic stop, noticed her vehicle travel past him at a high rate of speed, next to the distress lane. According to the release, Damico registered a .21 through a preliminary breath test. She was taken to Froedtert Memorial hospital for a blood draw. Previously, Damico was convicted of OWI in Nov. 1997 and Jan, 2010. Pending cases still exist for incidents in July 2010 and February 2011. Her BAC was .27 and .29 in the …

Muskego McDonald's is not the place to drive if you've had a few too many.
This week's neighborhood watch crime report includes another incident where drivers under the influence never made it out of McDonald's drive-through. The restaurant has made at least two previous calls in the past year resulting in the arrest of drivers under the influence. Man cited for OWI on the lake gives a repeat performance behind the wheel of his car en route to the Muskego Police Department
A 53-year-old Franklin man was arrested for operating a boat while intoxicated on Little Muskego Lake on July 5. Exactly one week later, at 10 a.m., he drove to the Muskego Police Department to ask questions about that arrest — and got nailed again, this time for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Muskego man who was arrested for OWI in April in Milwaukee is charged with a misdemeanor for fleeing; officer who hit Strasser will not be reprimanded, but is instructed to undergo training for his use of profanity.
According to Patch's media partner at Fox 6, Muskego man Jeffrey Strasser has been charged with fleeing an officer in the wake of an incident in downtown Milwaukee in April 2012. Strasser was driving a friend's Lamboughini and was drunk when police pulled him from the vehicle and attempted to subdue him, according to reports. A video of the arrest appeared to show officer Eric Ratzman striking Strasser, which led to an internal investigation by police to determine whether action would be taken against Ratzman. Strasser had indicated earlier that he was considering legal action against Ratzman and the Milwaukee Police Department, but no citizen complaint was ever filed regarding the arrest. Muskego Police keep busy keeping drunks from driving as temps climb into a more summerlike category.
Saturday, May 26 – A 62 year old Muskego man was arrested for drunk driving in the W18400 block of Muskego Dam Rd. Monday, May 28 – Wednesday, May 30 – A traffic stop near Independence Dr. and Concord Ct. resulted in the arrest of a 21 year old Muskego woman and a 30 year old Wind Lake man for possession of drugs and paraphernalia related to the abuse of prescription drugs and heroin. Woman told officer she didn't know he was trying to pull her over despite sirens, lights and spotlights. She was stopped at other end of city after police put up a barricade, and was found to be 3 times over the legal limit of intoxication.
A Muskego woman is facing felony charges after she was driving drunk and refused to pull over for a police officer. Jennifer N. Klappa, 33, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with one count of attempting to flee an officer. If convicted, she faces up to 3 ½ years in prison $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On March 11, a Muskego police officer was monitoring traffic in the W13500 block of Janesville Road when he spotted Klappa doing 56 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour speed zone. The officer got behind Klappa and tried to pull her over, but she continued to drive. The officer then turned on his emergency siren, but Klappa still continued driving.
