The Muskego Historical Society Preserves The Memories of Its Citizens

The society is preparing for an eventful year - and they could use a little help along the way.

Three years ago, Laura Mishefske volunteered to help out at the Muskego Historical Society. The society had moved locations and there was a room full of boxes left over from the previous historian. Today, Mishefske and a small group of fellow citizens have transformed the society into a vast resource of information and artifacts. It now has a working library with a curator, as well as a display room on-site and a growing web site, which features extensive genealogical information for those looking to investigate their family history. They even have a presence on Facebook. However, the work is never finished. Spring is around the corner, and this is when the society gets busy.
