Muskego Woman Charged With 4th OWI

Suspect faces a felony charge after a 2011 traffic stop in Cudahy.

A 44-year-old Muskego woman is accused of her fourth drunk driving charge stemming from a traffic stop nearly two years ago. Deana Marie Damico was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of fourth offense operating while intoxicated within five years and one count of operating a motor vehicle after revocation of her license. If convicted, she faces up to four years in prison and $12,500 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Feb. 7, 2011, a Cudahy police officer on patrol saw Damico speeding northbound on South Packard Avenue, then running a four-way stop at East Ramsey Avenue. The officer pulled her over in the 6000 block of Packard, where he smelled alcohol on Damico’s breath. Damico failed field …

Muskego Man Charged With 5th OWI

Suspect refused to continue field sobriety tests after a police officer denied his request to call his wife first to let her know

A 35-year-old Muskego man is facing felony charges after he was caught driving drunk for the fifth time Saturday. Christopher S. Mommaerts was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of fifth offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 1:01 a.m. Saturday, a Muskego police officer was travelling eastbound on Woods Road behind Mommaerts, who was swerving from side to side in the lane. He then tried to pull Mommaerts over, who didn’t stop until he reached a driveway near Ladwig Drive. Mommaerts told the officer he had been drinking at a friend’s house earlier in the night.
