Idle Isle Improvements Continue
Little Muskego Lake Association continues partnership with the parks department to transform the island park, one project at a time.
"I cannot believe what a difference less than one year makes," said Lisa Niles of the Little Muskego Lake Association (LMLA). Referring to the transformation of the shoreline at Idle Isle Park, before and after pictures do show a vast improvement from the overgrown grasses and weeds that had greeted boaters and swimmers there. Most recently, the LMLA donated a sign valued at $2,000 to upgrade the look of the older, green sign that had listed the rules and regulations. It was installed late last week. "This was really a joint effort with LMLA and the Muskego Park and Rec Department," Niles said.
