Strasser Charged With Fleeing; Cop Will Receive Training

Muskego man who was arrested for OWI in April in Milwaukee is charged with a misdemeanor for fleeing; officer who hit Strasser will not be reprimanded, but is instructed to undergo training for his use of profanity.

According to Patch's media partner at Fox 6, Muskego man Jeffrey Strasser has been charged with fleeing an officer in the wake of an incident in downtown Milwaukee in April 2012. Strasser was driving a friend's Lamboughini and was drunk when police pulled him from the vehicle and attempted to subdue him, according to reports. A video of the arrest appeared to show officer Eric Ratzman striking Strasser, which led to an internal investigation by police to determine whether action would be taken against Ratzman. Strasser had indicated earlier that he was considering legal action against Ratzman and the Milwaukee Police Department, but no citizen complaint was ever filed regarding the arrest.
