Ride Needs Your Help to Make It Memorable

Ride of Remembrance expected to draw 800-900 to Tess Corners Fire Station as it makes its way through southeastern Wisconsin on July 28.

If you're in Muskego around lunchtime on Saturday, July 28, it won't be thunder you're hearing. It will be the rumble of about 600-plus motorcyclists rolling into town as part of the Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial 'Ride of Remembrance.' Make a plan to be along the route for the riders, who will end up at Tess Corners Fire Station #1 on Tess Corners Drive for lunch catered by Matty's, around 12:30 p.m. Riders will be coming in from Wind Lake on Loomis Drive, then heading north on North Cape Road (Highway OO) to Durham Drive/Moorland Road, turning east on Janesville and then right onto Tess Corners Drive. The spectacle of those coming down Moorland/Janesville will be cool, I agree. We'll keep folks posted to see if there will be any road closures as the date draws nearer.   more ›
