From Church and Chapel Funeral Homes: Bernell Irene Jacob of Muskego (known as Bea to friends and family) found peace on Feb. 20, at the age of 88 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert. Loving mom of Carol Ann (Frank) Blank and Gregory (Ginny) Does. Dear grandma of William (Kirstie) Blank and Kim (Bill) Burge. Dear great-grandma of Logan, Wilson and Shelby Burge and Jillian Blank. Further survived by other relatives and friends. From Max A. Sass and Sons funeral home: Marian L. Knutilla (nee Fessenbecker), passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2013 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Arnold. She was the loving mother of Charlene Lockwood, the late LeRoy, Raymond (Renee) Knutilla, Janet (Dennis) D'Angelis and Louise (David) Werts. Further survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one brother Ruel Fessenbecker, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by six sisters and brothers. Marian loved to teach knitting and sewing at the Muckey 4-H Club and Muskego Senior Community Center, and was an avid orchid grower. From Max. A Sass and Sons Funeral Home: James John Kohlman found peace on Jan. 19 at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of Kay, loving dad of Karen (Kevin) Freeman and the late Bob (Pat). He was also the proud grandpa of Joe, Jake, Noah and Ben, and is further survived by family and friends. A celebration of Jim's life will be held Friday Jan. 25 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. with a service of remembrance at 12 p.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield. Jim proudly served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean War, was a member of American Legion Post #427 and was a longtime employee of the Wisconsin Telephone Company. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity.

As funeral arrangements are set for Kayla Corona, memorials placed at the accident scene recall a friend, teammate and daughter, with her favorite color purple asked to be worn in her memory.
The frozen landscape has taken its toll on the bouquets of flowers laid at the site of a fatal crash that took the life of Kayla Corona, a 2012 Muskego High School graduate. However, the warmth of the sentiments is very real and moving. "You were one of the happiest people I have ever met ... playing rugby with you and meeting you were some of the happiest experiences of my life," wrote a former teammate on a rugby football. Corona died after being transported to Froedtert Hospital in the early morning hours Saturday, the result of her vehicle leaving Henneberry Drive and crashing into a utility pole. Muskego resident was a member of the Woman's Club, and will be laid to rest on Jan. 11 after a battle with colon cancer.
A longtime resident of Muskego, Carol Ann Helminski, lost her battle with colon cancer, and passed away on Jan. 4 at the age of 71. Additional information from Max A. Sass & Sons is as follows: Devoted wife of Mel for 48 years. Loving mother of Timm (Amy) Helminski. Proud grandmother of Nicholas, Kyle and Allison. Sister of Patricia (Richard) Amoriella and Thomas (Donna) Denneboil. Sister-in-law of Jim (Judy) Helminski and Ron (Anita) Helminski. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
