New Church Hopes to Worship in Former Teen Club
Fox River Christian Church has hopes to renovate the former 'Lights' Teen Club, but will need approval from Plan Commission; Moose Lodge, Muskego Firestone also ask for amendments to their sites
It came and went almost overnight, and now the 'Lights' teen club could be the site of praise and worship instead of dancing and arcade games. The Plan Commission will begin with a public hearing on the matter, then consider a resolution for the Fox River Christian Church to open a satellite church at the corner of Tans Drive and Racine Avenue on Muskego's north side. Residents won't likely notice many changes to the building's exterior, however the congregation will need to transform the interior, which consisted of several separate areas, into a larger worship space to accommodate about 345 people.
