Muskego Wrestlers Take 3rd in La Crosse
Young team proves themselves on the mats in Bi-State tourney during the Christmas break.
Muskego Wrestling Coach Sean Fortmann was busy over the break along with his team, and the hard work of the season so far has paid off. Competing in the Bi-State Classic tournament in LaCrosse, the men on the mats showed that its youth wasn't going to limit its success. "This is an extremely competitive tournament with over 54 teams from Minnesota and Wisconsin," said Fortmann. "We walked away with two 3rd place finishers, Austin Quartullo (120 lbs.) and Connor Price (152 lbs). He said he was happy with the performance, as "Connor and Austin both wrestled and lost to arguably the best wrestlers in the whole tournament and yet came back to place third.
