No Threats to Muskego Schools, but Plans for 2013 Beef Up Security

Less than a week after the tragic shooting of 20 kindergartners and six staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary, area school districts have begun to receive threats of their own, and all are being taken seriously. Waukesha South and North principals said there are rumors on Facebook about "something bad happening" at the school. Oak Creek Superintendent Sara Burmeister said threats of violence at their high school is not considered credible, but the Oak Creek Police Department is taking it seriously and investigating. Late Tuesday, Hamilton School District administrators received calls from parents who were hearing rumors from their children of a potential threat as well. Working toward a degree gets you in to be a teacher... that does not sound right. If you like that salary you can send your kid off to teach, not me. Not at tuition of 10k at least a year for 4 or 5 years. I suppose we could cut teacher pay to 20k and cops to 30k and then hire psychologists at 25k.
