Franklin Man Run Over After Getting Ride Home from a Bar, Police Say

A Hales Corners man is accused of driving another man home from a bar then running him over with his pickup truck while the victim is trying to get his bicycle out of the back.

A 68-year-old Hales Corners man is accused of running over another man he dropped off at a Franklin junkyard after a night of drinking at an area tavern. Harvey W. Pulver was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of second offense operating while intoxicated and causing injury. If convicted, he faces up to three years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 4:18 p.m. Dec. 22, Franklin police officers were called to Durham Auto Salvage and Sales, 10568 S. 124th St., after someone reported a truck in a ditch in the area.
