Sidelined by snow, Muskego City Hall canceled meetings on Tuesday, but there were other things to talk about, including a lost dog found, a new business edging toward opening, and more crime stories
This was the last week in February, but it appeared that winter wasn't planning on leaving anytime too soon. Muskego got a bit of a snow surprise, with 8-10 inches falling, but soldiered on through the wet, heavy white stuff. Did a snowplow level your mailbox? We also reviewed the stories in February that got the most attention from readers, with the closing of Salentine, the Parkland Mall lawsuit, and a barn fire among the top stories. Wesley the dog made news, as this seven-month-old puppy, visiting from West Allis, took an unauthorized tour of Muskego, being lost for three days before being found again on Thursday. Nevertheless, the National Weather Service has upgraded the Winter Weather Advisory that was initially posted to a Winter Storm Warning for lakeside counties of Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Milwaukee Racine and Kenosha as well as Walworth and Washington. All other counties in much of southern Wisconsin remain under a Winter Weather Advisory, according to Patch's media partners at WISN 12. Strong winds and snow will continue …

In that case I want to see the President chill out on using executive privilege, issue a freeze on spending, and a flood of democrats resigning. Maybe then we can get a heat wave to warm up the economy.   more ›
