Abduction Attempt Nearby Has Police Looking for Suspect
Racine County sheriffs are hoping to catch a suspect in an abduction attempt before his next try is successful.
Racine County dispatch took a call about a possible child abduction attempt in the Village of Waterford on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. The child abduction attempt was reported by a 15-year-old girl’s father and stated that the attempt happenedjust before 2 p.m. in the 200 block of Washington St. Racine County Sheriff Deputies and an investigator responded to the area and made contact with the girl and her family. She reported that as she was walking home a late 90’s or early 2000’s silver vehicle similar to a Buick Regal drove passed her and then stopped.
