Just as you're about to head home, the snow's flying and with a vengence. Although it's not going to be a storm of long duration or depth, the afternoon drive home won't be much of a picnic. The National Weather Service had initially issued a winter weather advisory for Ozaukee, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha counties that was in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday. However, by 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, it was upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning in effect until noon on Wednesday. Patch’s media partners at WISN 12 News are forecasting 3 to 5 inches of wet, heavy snow with the higher totals likely over southern Milwaukee County through Racine and Kenosha counties.
