Not that I think anyone should run for office for the money, the reality is we pay our aldermen $9000 a year. This kills two birds with one stone - gives Mr LeDoux extra money to help with medical expenses and allows him to continue his public service. Regardless of whom ever wins, it's a huge improvement in representation for district 2

I'd like to see a bridge across big MUSKEGO lake too, so I can cut my drive time or bike time in half, but we all know that would not be financially feasible. Where is all this money coming from? My god haven't we spent enough on our parks and trails these last few years? Is anyone thinking of the cost not only to build, but to maintain and take care of this new system? Spend spend spend. That's all Alderman Soltysiak knows how to do!

I have, re-read MY comments. I don't think we need to spend $15,000 on a study. What have been the qualifying incidents to justify a study? Even if there have been some, would you want to base a decision on traffic patterns during the Janesville Road construction? That hardly gives us a true picture of traffic patterns in other alternative routes such as woods.

Really?? All that money to support a traffic study where there has not been any issues besides a line? No accident increases above normal? No pedestrians getting hit? A line... Waiting a few SECONDS, this is what our aldermen are using our tax dollars for? And what will this lead to? Nothing if we are lucky, $400,000+ if we aren't. These people can't spend our money fast enough can they? Imagine what it will cost to re-route the bike paths around this if they re-do the intersection. Any when will this be done? During Janesville road construction? That will be a accurate study of traffic patterns.

    A little common sense here!

As someone who ran as a conservative, he sure likes to spend money. Dogs don't pay taxes!

No the boards job is not to put the students first. It's a balancing act between the taxpayers and students needs.

This whole mess is on the current board who let this get to this point as well as the union and all of their baseless accusations. I still have yet to see/hear ANY evidence of all these claims against Mr Farner. This whole thing reeks of poor union leadership leading their members down a dark road.

You have painted a picture of a disfunctional district which is now sticking. Good luck using the "it was the superintendents fault" when applying at other districts. Do you really think that administrators from other districts are going to want anything to do with a teacher from the Greenfield School district?

The union managed to drag down every teacher and staff member of the Greenfiled School district in their quest to bring down its former superintendent. Nice job. So while in the future those teachers that are layed off because of budget cuts (and that will happen every year), apply to find work elsewhere, remember your union and the nice job they did tainting YOUR reputation because of a personality conflict between the union leader and the districts Superintendant. And remember this: he and the rest of the exited administrators are all still collecting their 6 figure incomes, while you will be collecting $400 a week in unemployment.

Elections do have consequences: remember that next time you vote for someone like Karrie

Gotta love all the organized union hacks making comments on here posting as citizens and parents. This is merely a union vendetta for actually making them work for a living. Go Scott Walker!

This is a result of that union hack Kerri Jo Patten. She could care less about education, she only wants to stick it to the tax payers to line her pockets.
