Woman Sentenced to Prison After 4th OWI

A Waukesha County judge sentenced Ann Cacace to 18 months in prison after she drove the wrong way on Moorland Road last December.

A 43-year-old Waterford woman who was arrested for her fourth drunken-driving offense after driving the wrong way on Moorland Road last December has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Ann F. Cacace, who received credit for 136 days already served, was also sentenced to 18 months extended supervision and had her driver's license revoked for three years.

She pleaded no contest last month to a felony charge of fourth-offense drunken driving.

According to police reports, a Muskego police officer saw Cacace's vehicle in the wrong lane on Moorland Road, near Kohl's Department Store, about 9:30 p.m. Dec. 22.

Cacace barely avoided hitting the vehicle in front of the squad, and the officer had to pull to the shoulder as well, according to the report.

Preliminary tests indicated her blood alcohol level at 0.31, or nearly four times the legal limit.
